The New Circle cordially invites all women of SUMC to join them for a "Goodbye Party" in honor of Pastor Dee Lowman on Monday, May 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hearth Room. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share, as well as your memories and well wishes.

Did you know the church has a softball team? Everyone is welcome to play in our friendly games against other local churches! Shen UMC Softball Team is looking for players! Players need to be at least 15 years old, and no experience is needed! Just come to have a good time. Games are once or twice a week starting in May through the beginning of July. [edit] May 18 Help the youth package 10,000 meals
May 18 starting at 9am with Stop Hunger Now. Stop Hunger Now provides meals to malnourished children throughout the world. So how can you help? You can give, each meal cost $.25 therefore our students are trying to collect $2500 for the 10,000 meals. You can make any checks out to SUMC and put Stop Hunger Now in the memo line. You can serve by helping us package the 10,000 meals. We need at least 40 volunteers and all ages are welcome to serve! Sign-up sheet is located in the Fellowship Hall. The Friday Morning Moms welcomes all! You do not have to be from SUMC to attend! We meet at 9:00 am on Fridays in the Hearth Room for coffee, prayer and discussion. Newcomers are always welcome. Friday Morning Moms (please visit our site!)
