[edit] COUNTRY FAIR SEPTEMBER 10 and 11!
We’re bursting with events, games and deals in adult and kid’s clothing, curiosity and household goods! Chuck Wagon, Collectables, Christmas in September, Farmer's Market and Gamesville with Bounce House and Dunk Tank, Balloon making, ice cream stand, snow cones/popcorn/cotton candy and baked goods!

[edit] Methodist Adventurers Trip
Saturday, October 16, to Essex, CT, for a 2 1/2 hour steam train ride followed by a 1 1/4 hour riverboat ride on the Becky Thatcher riverboat. This will be on the only steam train riverboat connection in the country beginning at the 1892 Essex station. There will be a box lunch for all and the price is $105, but if you are a AAA member, it is $100. Please call Cindy Coulter 371-1825 or Liz Mitchell 383-1553 by Sept 5.

Online scheduling is available for the 2010 SUMC photo directory. Visit the main page and click the link for Lifetouch scheduling. If you do not have computer access, you may sign up during during Coffee Hour on Sept. 12 or 19. Photo dates are Oct 5 - 9. Families with college students are urged to consider Saturday when your student might be home for Columbus Day weekend. Questions may be directed to Kathy Donatelli, 371-5172; Kathy Kohler, 371-9731; or Lauri Nair, 371-3501. Volunteers are needed to help register during photo shoots. [edit] SUMC Golf League
The SUMC Golf League begins it's seventh season at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 14, at the Executive Course in Clifton Knolls. Golfers of all abilities are welcome. It's not necessary to play every week... come when you can. Some play to compete and some play to have fun, but everyone enjoys the friendship and the fellowship. [edit] Friday Morning Moms
Look for us starting again in September!!! The Friday Morning Moms is a place for learning, fellowship and fun. Think of it as a day spa for your soul! Our meetings are Fridays, 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Hearth Room and our child care staff provides free, professional child care while the moms relax and enjoy the fellowship of their peers. Newcomers are always welcome.

Usually the first Saturday of the month, 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, benefiting the Workcamp mission trip.
